I could probbbbbbably find the money to buy him out, making him the same offer that he made me, BUT there are a good amount of mistakes that have been made (things that I've gone against my gut letting my partner make decisions) that I feel as though I'd rather just start over from scratch.

Completed FC in late August but found that there was a mistake in the legal description (long story, later) so we have to vacate the FC and are now re-foreclosing.

Both books do a good job of giving reasons those fears may be misplaced and outlining how to do things in REI correctly in order to minimize any mistakes.
