I am targeting travel nurses as the property is close to 4 medical centers in the area but again, struggle to get more commitments.

I’m currently looking at properties in the Fort Worth downtown medical district.

UT at Brownsville is expanding with potentially a new Medical school in the area. 

I've done it a few different ways. 1) Listed it on the sites such as Furnished Finder, AirBnB, Booking.com, FB Travel lodging groups; and specifically call out the proximity to any medical centers or hospitals.  2) Word of mouth with my friends and colleagues 3) Reaching out to travel medical staff companies and leaving my info with recruiters.  

In fact, I'd argue that it is actually the most challenging form of "real estate investing" out there (and I've done it all.. wholesaling, house flipping, ground up development, office, medical, short term rentals, long term rentals)My 2 cents is that you mentor your son to become a rock star realtor.

They're among my favorite tenants, and there are not enough semi-furnished units at the ready near medical facilities.

It sounds like you should be looking outside of growth cities and tertiary markets.

I love tertiary markets.  

However, due to medical reasons, my family and I had to relocate out of town for an extended period last year.
