that the big, evil investment bank would have to write checks back to the homeowner should variable rates shoot up.And of course, the easiest solution -- for most people -- to get a fixed-rate loan is just to refinance into a fixed-rate product, and the banks love nothing more than refinances because they generate lots of juicy fee income, ergo they have little incentive to solve the problem by doing interest rate swaps.I love this question, though.

Plus the icemakers can be prone to fialure based on problems with different water pressure and so on.Unless your rental agreement stipulates you will provide an icemaker, one possible solution would be to remove the refridgerator and save it.

If you have to get a loan then get the lowest possible rate, not the high rates designed for a short-term flip (the hard money solution), and you should line up your financing before you make offers, just stay away from hard, expensive, money!

Just a few centuries later, we understand the mechanics behind the sun rising, so no-longer is a "Sun god" needed.In my opinion, the longer civilization advances, the more we will learn, and the less need there will be for religion to give us the answers we crave.I see religion as a short-term solution to man's need for answers.
