The $100k estimate was given to me by a contractor I worked for when I was younger that recently retired into consulting.

Hi everyone,I will be in Chicago the week of February 3 to meet and qualify lenders, property managers, and contractors.

That way once I have a good idea of how to fix something, I'll know if a bid is too high if I choose to pay a contractor to fix something.

Also do you have already a contractor team to work with for the repairs, and i will think about also if things do not work the way you plan them can you make the loan payments every monthwithout any financial problem, can you affort it even if you do not make any money from it within the next 3 or 6 months?

It really depends on if we have the contractors available and if its worth our time to go down that far.

There are usually a few contractors there at the meeting and if not, the group can definitely refer you to several reputable contractors they have used.

It's an oddball house but could be a good flip or wholesale.I'm new to Denver and this is my first deal here, anyone have recommendations on a good title company or contractors?

Does this mean that I should have a contractor estimate repair costs anyway, or should I trust the estimate provided by the HUD agents?
