We've always been interested in real estate but finally made the leap about three years ago.Our goal is to ultimately have enough cash flow to live a financially independent and happy retirement.

I have a rental property in Independence that needs some rehab work (mainly cosmetics, flooring, painting, alarm system) to get it in marketable/rentable condition. 

There are a lot of good rental areas around the eastern suburbs like Independence, Raytown, South Kansas City and Grandview that perform well.
