I'd tell her you're either not going to deal with the carpet or will try to work around and if they need to be replaced, here are the ones you are buying.And never having heard of such things, I looked them up and here in Canada you can get a 10 pack from Amazon for $18...so guessing they are even cheaper in the US.

@Carlos Ptriawan @Zachary Ware I came to that conclusion a while back, I don't see a path forward where there is a major positive outcome, and most lp's must feel that way because they couldn't raise the capital they needed, 1 of them is trying to sell, the other one still believes they can salvage the deal.

Now the last tree I had removed was 5 years ago and the arborist took it to a friends house that has a mill where he was planning on milling the tree into oak flooring for a house he was building.My question is should I bother trying to get some value out of this tree one way or another?
