I'm in Denver, where there is currently a shocking lack of inventory.  

If you know someone who can do better on conventional loans i would like to talk to him.

Remember not everyone finds RE as easy as you do, and some would rather learn from a big TV name in a big fancy convention hall and be wowed by presentation, and not take the same info from some random person on a message board. 

I have looked at FHA loans but have also heard some investors on this site using a 5% down conventional loan for live in properties and multi-units. 

Than you can rate and term refinance the property with a conventional mortgage. 

I have heard on the streamline loan your payments start 30 days after loan acceptance, while the conventional 203K starts getting paid after renovation. 

What if I was to find a house and use the FHA plus 203k loan, then once I'm ready to sell convert to a conventional loan within 6 months of living there.  

Prices are still struggling, although demand has finally increased as inventory shrinks.I looked at several other areas over the years and couldn't find other areas that compared when you look at tall facets.  

I am looking for advice on how we can determine whether or not he/we can qualify for conventional financing?
