Prices can be an issue too, so if you have $10,000 lots, the compensation has to be different than what many sellers have in mind.If you are thinking of flipping land, will you have possession or are you trying to arbitrage?

Plus I get to have coffee with my friends while my truck is not being broken into.

If you already saw the house, outside of an Open House, with the listing agent, there will be an issue with procuring cause and your agent may have to pay a referral fee.

Being prepared makes what could be an emergency more of an annoyance instead.

@Trascia Daniel As long as it’s a solid, well defined agreement it shouldn’t be an issue as long the agreement “makes sense”.  

The Solo 401k is a separate entity from you and there should not be an intermingling of funds.
