@Joe Villeneuve   I know this is off topic.. however I just got a gut wrenching e mail from a lady in Aussie that has gotten wrapped up in what looks to be a very poor poor operator up in your area.Would you be so kind as to look into these and make suggestions to this lady.

The thing that attracted me to the real estate business is this: it's not personal, it's just a house.

The idea of not just starting my portfolio but kicking it into high gear was attractive to me.  

I went to my local county office and ask for the probate list, and the lady said she couldn't give me that information because was against the law.

First of all, there's that huge attraction - simply put, being a real estate investor is sexy.

This will be an attractive offer because you already did the pre-construction leg work and they would be able to just build from it.

For you experienced landlords have you found that by putting nicer things in your home that it attracts a renter that is less likely to destroy your place?

If I buy a fixer upper, I flip to increase the rent, attract a better tenant, and reduce the maintenace costs.  

I walk into the kitchen, and a lady was in there, she went pale white in the face, she totally fell backwards and collapsed on to the kitchen floor hitting the stove and shelving.Not only did I scare her, she had a medical condition.
