I'm sure you could find deals here if you bought in some of the more ghetto areas, but I'm not about to go down that road.

its a recipe for failure, and likely the same person would fail or likely have a very rough road in any town including his own. 

I see a lot of problems with how landlords assess applications and decide on deposits that could cost them a ton of money down the road.
