I’m guessing the other 34% are renting to family, in the middle of a multi-year lease, are lying to the survey taker to sound like angels, or are retired ma/pa operators that don’t know better and haven’t increased rent in 10 years.

Thank you Lynn I used to live in Port St Lucie, FL 45 mins north of west palm beach about 8 years ago , that's when I should of got into the real estate market but instead I was repairing properties for the banks and not pulling the trigger on my own portfolio,  But better late than never , it's just a harder market in Massachusetts  I believe everything is so overpriced

I found it in a popular real estate listings portal and I met the agent and explained to her that I´m a property redeveloper and that I would need seller finance in order to only need a smaller amount of capital in order to redevelop the property.
