What is most important to me is having a good mentor, working for an innovative brokerage that utilized social media, as well as revenue sharing, and obviously a good pay structure ;) I also love being part of a team, and learning from others, and would love to learn more about marketing.

I am currently a college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in "Information Science & Technology".

Technology has enabled communication with a remote CPA through phone calls, emails, skype etc.

With technology being what it is, this particular feature may be available from smaller companies as well.

I can definitely respect many of the points that you had made coming from a old school perspective but technology today has opened so many other doors. 

I'm pretty good with technology and the web (social media, setting up websites, managing an email list, stuff like that) but was wondering what other ways I could help more successful investors out?

Also, with all the technology today, finding comps is simple.

Unless you really need to see my mug in the flesh, technology opens up clients and firms outside your local region. 

I have multiple opinions for JLL's best brokers and Colliers about wha to do but its all over the board about getting in now or waiting.I think the market for a small guy like me is to find ( some state) and look for class C or B properties under rented and use new technology to get it more operational and leased up + strong SEO marketing to drive traffic.  

I think Hickory, NC is starting to do well with technology and many "green" related companies as well.
