Ours were just townhome-style units within an HOA, so it was bizarre that they would deny a wheelchair ramp out her own front door when she was the only one using it on the owner part of the grounds, not the common areas, with a doctor's note.

Maybe you'll be better at holding your ground but I find myself more willing to negotiate when I know a deal is close since offers are harder to get in a vacation area up here.Just something to think about, hope it helps.Ben Hanvelt
