I looked at a 2/2 condo today that was in decent conidition for 89,900 (looked like a buy and flip type deal) and they accepted an offer yesterday. tsk tsk tsk. 

Will it cover a fire due to old wiring or is that an exclusion?

If your offer is accepted make sure you get a escrow company, closing agent or lawyer or whatever is used in Illinois, that is familiar with probate.If your PR has limited authority and needs court approval to sell assets make sure you understand the court confirmation process and auction if there is one.

When I buy a home Should I accept the 3% buyer agent side of commission and split it with my broker or take no commission and ask seller for 3% reduction in purchase price?

@Jeremery Jett, you mean, you put in an Offer which was not accepted?

Isn't the bank just as likely to accept a short sale vs going through a FC regardless of the equity?

I know that many asset managers will do a quick property check on buyers before accepting an offer to see if they own anything else and confirm that the buyer is not an investor.

So far, our buyers are accepting this offering, but time will tell.
