You look pretty young in your picture so if you have a w-2 job and a long horizon, then perhaps the lower maintenance and the (likely) higher appreciation of the newer units might be the better call.

Think if pictures for example had blockchain security so that they couldn't be appropriated by rogue websites.....or that properties could be assigned code so that title search and transfer was more secure (and significantly less costly.)   

Hello, I saw a house in the San Diego area yesterday, it looked like it just needed paint, carpet and updated fixtures from the pictures. 1980 built, but it looked like there is some water damage from a window and I don't know how much I should estimate for a repair.

The before pictures are simply "no words."

(with pictures to boot) freak sellers and brokers out but they are profit words for many investors, if handled correctly.Call around to a lot of inspectors and see if you can find one/some that have multifamily experience and pricing.  

We also ask for pictures for everything.
