I recommend sending a text stating that you're glad to have them as tenants, you look forward to meeting the new addition to their family due in just a few short months, that you appreciate knowing that the stairwell doors have been slamming close and that you will place a note on the door to ask that the doors be hand closed to help reduce that noise.

If I remember correctly, they require the property manager to live within either 30 miles or 30 minutes of the property (I think) therefore if your out of state they will require a local person.
