You need to get educated and fast....I know it's overwhelming, but you need to be spending a couple hours a day on sites like this Forum, reading books and watching YT videos.

Reno plan for 3 months, with 3 months no mtg payment.

I would rather spend my mental energy elsewhere rather than on a creepy neighbor lol. 

Does anyone see any legal or accounting issues with this plan?  

Do you plan on buying a multi family property because you can't use an FHA mortgage to purchase a single family residence as a rental. 

I'm stacking some solid connections in Columbus and plan on visiting to get the lay of the land at some point.

I don't want to spend a lot to find this info, or the title info.

Anyone know a contractor who will do work and get paid out of the proceeds of the sale of the property? Much thanks.

@Jessica Uresti construction is NOT a linear process and rarely goes as planned!

The designer should have a good sense of what to do with your place since they are an expert in this field so I don’t think it’s worthwhile to hunt around for styles you like. space planning and layout will be an important first step.
