For example, they can see your wiring diagram and know you plan on using the right sized breakers and will not overload them, you have GFCI in the proper locations, smoke alarms will be installed in all the proper rooms, etc.5.

If you really feel you need AC though, you would probably be better off getting a couple of nice window units and having them permanently installed professionally, which you can do for a fraction of the price of putting central AC in.

The interior electrical work should/would be nil, and the cost of submetering won't require the installation of two new power panels, assuming you currently only have one. idk maybe @Stephen Joyner can chime in and provide some electrician professional insight on this option.Now the on the billing side of things, you would still be responsible for providing electrical service to the units as the main electric company account holder, but you would be able to bill each unit for their own proportionate share of the electric bill.

Add on all the wood paneling removal and drywall installation, floor treatments, etc, etc. and it got to be a pretty good size rehab cost to prep the house for retail.But like I said, this house was very well-maintained.
