I would venture to say that most of their posts were questions asking political, off topic and genreal questions, like the economic impact of the fed on RE, Such postings were obviously to run up the points quickly to gain influence, IMO, as some of these folks are really not that well versed in the technical issues of real estate.It has turned BP in a broader scope of macro business topics rather than drilling down into details of real estate.

Later, I learned accounting and met other in construction and real estate that further sparked my interest.I can't really say that what Donald Trump, Bill Gates or others like them ever did made any meaningful impact in my life.

:)Depending on how the property is held (business entity or personally) will impact this analysis a bit.

You need to be making a impact on your market, being able to help anyone that comes into contact with you.

Be Specific about your HardshipOnce you have established your reasons for hardship, you need to put in the effort to understand how that hardship has impacted you specifically.

I think your money could go to other areas that would give you far greater impact on the "sell ability" of the property.Remember that Kitchens and Master Bedrooms are on the top of the list for areas that increase the value of your home.

I have an enormous client base, contacts in all areas involving real estate but a divorce left me with poor credit and in a financial hole. 

My immediate plan was to take this grad school time to completely develop & package this idea then sale the hell out of it with a kickass business plan package, economy impact, schedules, concept site plan & renderings, all while showing and ensuring that I'm creditable, talented, and completely capable of getting the project completed & cash flowing.
