I came across BiggerPockets as one of the first resources I encountered when I became interested in real estate investing, starting off with the BP podcast (I've marathoned ~60 episodes in two weeks) and the site itself.I'm excited (and to be honest, a fair bit intimidated) to get started in real estate investing, and I thought I'd reach out to the community to get more involved and accelerate my learning process.  

I am aware of offering my buyer value on his purchase and that's something I'm going to strive for once I get my first deal and any deals after that.I won't be jumping into this blind there's still many months of me soaking in information and learning.

I am aware from reading about hard money lending/ private lenders, but where do you find these people and what do you generally need in place to do so?

However, if you are connected in the community and know you can get a couple quality tenants, why not rent it out and pull some equity out if you want to free up some cash?
