Then I would get the basic docs where are: - P&L for ideally last 24 - 36 months (income statement, operating statement..I've seen it called multiple things)- current rent roll Once you that info you can project if you should pursue it or not based on if it meets your objectives.

But they disguise their objections by saying that the operators of "unofficial" STRs are not playing by the same rules since they are not collecting & paying taxes to the city....and they are right.I personally will not do business unless I can be "legit".

Another objective would be to make sure you’re still cash flowing after you refi, and I’ve heard of other clauses that say mortgage rates have to be below x for the balloon payment to be paid.

I would put in the inspection objection that the roof is to be inspected and make sure that it is up to code before closing on the property.
