There are little ways to preserve or not burn through as much cash, just in case it does in fact cost more.

I have $120,000 in cash burning a hole in my pocket and I'm looking to invest it.

@Carol Burns Yes-our Property Management Company has limitations based on breed, which is their insurance companies’ limitation.

Word of mouth is best, you WILL get burned by a contractor.

I also install smoke detectors and replace the batteries once a year...whether they are wired in or not.If a tenant accidentally starts a fire in the kitchen, I don't want my property to burn down simply because there was no extinguisher available to put the fire out.Two items on my checklist for getting a unit ready for rent is verifying the extinguisher is still there, charged, and unexpired. 

He mentioned he wanted to donate it to the fire dept. so the can do a controlled burn.

I got burned bad on a rental property in Baltimore. 

Of course they were burned and some damage done in the kitchen.

I am still waiting to see if a duplex burns down does it get rebuilt to sfh and then re-convert to dueplex or will it be rebuilt to duplex status ???????
