Hello -
I'm currently looking for a multi-family to BRRR but have never rehabbed/flipped before. I'm not sure at what point in the process you get a rehab crew involved or how to find a solid rehab crew. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!
easiest way is to go drive around and see any active job sites. Ask the contractors on site for their card and if you can see their work while youre there
Word of mouth is best, you WILL get burned by a contractor. Just a matter of when, you can mitigate the damage by taking your time and screening them correctly.
This is a tough one in the beginning. Especially in Los Angeles. You should start with asking your realtor contacts if they have any referrals.
Once you get a couple of names, you will want to "interview" them, have them show you a couple of their job sites if possible, and call a few of their prior clients.
