You can get good deals on short sales if the negotiator is skilled. 

Hi all,I'm a part-time attorney in the Puget Sound region; I've never bought a home and I have fairly comprehensive construction skills from years in carpentry.  

Their influx of  money coupled with your skills can and will get you going.So, you have to outline your goals in terms of the areas you want to focus on and then advertise it to the community....you will be deluged with responses from the near 320,000 active BPers!

In hiring a foriegn working, you want to fully vet them, their English skills and you will need to provide clear instructions and supervision.

I see an increase in that skill as extremely valuable down the line.I don't expect to do 50 deals in a month, like the broker said, but I don't see how 300+ cards out in the community could hurt.Or, as a few of you said, is it really a moot point unless I can capture contact info. for future followup?

They want someone competent, licensed and with a demonstrated capacity of successful prior projects to perform the repairs such as gutting a bathroom and kitchen using skills like plumbing/electrical/tiling and basic carpentry.

Not only do i appreciate these skills as a way to build wealth for me and mine, I also recognize that when we do what we do... we improve neighborhoods, and lives (hopefully) which further creates better communities! 

She said she can just look online at houses, but she wanted our expertise in the negotiates to get her the best deal.Sure, you could have out of towners coming to the area, so you want to know the market, but it's a simple 1-2-3 search and you can have the market at your fingertips.Negotiation skills... that's a skill to master.
