Had a fiend at work that inheireted his fathers small construction business Backhoe ,dump truck front end loader , power shovel .He worked UPS nights driving a semi did Installations of septic systems ,dug out foundations etc; The banker had 2 nephews one was a Plumber , One was An electrician My lawyer also had 2 nephews one had a carpentry company one had an HVAC business All of the above were looking to get into their own houses SO on a continuing basis over a few years WHERE do you suppose they got their building lots from ?

With so many flooring options available (hardwood, laminate flooring, ceramic tile, ceramic tile that looks like wood, vinyl plant flooring,.....and the list goes on and on and on...I'm all ears....like I said which came first the chicken or the egg.

Hello all,I am new to the BP forums but have been a landlord for about 10-yr (former primary residence turned rental) and need a referral to a very competent Handyman to help us completely insulate and encapsulate our crawl space under our shared foundation townhome/PUD.The companies who specialize in this type of encapsulation work seem to charge an arm and a leg >$5K when materials are less than $900 so we just do not have it in the budget, however, we would like to get it done before the fall when the skunk mating season begins.I have contacted a few Craig's list people who do side jobs and work for insulation companies full time but they have not actually done an encapsulation system and also want to charge what the big companies charge, one guy actually quoted me $4.5K+ with a straight face and unlike the companies I would have no warranty or recourse if problems came up after install!I
