Ryan,If it is truly a separate company, you will want to have proper Insurance coverage:- General Liability (Bodily Injury or Property damage caused by your operations)- Professional Liability (aka Errors & Omissions - for damages caused by your decisions, advice,...)- Workers Compensation (even if you are not employing anyone)There are other coverage to consider depending on your operations.

Personally, this could not be worse news for my buyer/investor focused growing business, however my role is not going away anytime soon..For example, there have been numerous instances where the amount of price negotiation exceeded my compensation or transactions that without my (or a professionals) participation would likely not be as efficient, feasible or successful.
