My dream and introduction

Hello, my name is Cameron Woodward. I am 22 years of age. I was born and raised in Hammond,IN. I made the choice to move to Huntsville, AL to strive for a better future. I’ve been listening to the bigger pockets real estate and money podcast for about a while now. This podcast had been not only informative, but inspiring. My goal is to buy and holds, next, to build a business around properties.

I'lI start off with telling everyone a few things myself. I don't have too much experiences with real estate, but I do have experiences in running a business. I'm a co owner for a moving company. We have been running a successful company for little over a year. I work full time in a welding shop to have proof of income, so I'd be able to get my fha loan. I’m ready to start exploring my options to make my dreams come true.

At first I was looking for a duplex to house hack, unfortunately I haven't been able to find one affordable in my area. I have shifted my research to looking for a houses I can fix up and eventually rent out. Im also looking to signing up for a real estate class online to try to start the process for get my license(if you have any recommendations please let me know ).

1.Is there anything I should know before applying for my first loan?

2. is there any meet ups or seminars coming up that anyone would recommend?

3.What would be the best online class to take on y'all personal opinions?
