If you're lucky enough to have a local builder with experience building passive houses, you may be able to build a house which requires almost zero supplementary heating and cooling, and it will have lower water bills as well.

My husband's name is not on our house because I bought it before we were together, so we can't use his income even though his income is sufficient to pay our bills.

I do not pay bills except my phone and car.

Bank statements, cell phone bills, proof of income, and etc.
