I have been pondering for years on how & where to start and have decided to connect on a larger scale to gain knowledge & guidance to get started.

I own a small 2 bed/1 bath home on 40 acres 30 minutes north of KC.

The project dragged on for over a year, with constant headaches, budget overruns, and stress.

He had an issue that the water lines were 1/2 inch and the toilet drain was PVC. 

The thought came to me because people pay a premium for new construction but then each year systems get older, so you are really banking on the value of the land.Thanks!

Completed a 1031 exchange into a retail/office building, then converted the second floor into a short-term rental (STR) and mid-term residen...

But if a tenant defaults they have a right for due process to contest the eviction.We see people try and do this with having a borrower on seller finance sign the deed back over to the lender and if they miss a payment the lender can record the deed back into their name.

I'm looking to see what others ask in terms of programs the tenant is on, details of voucher, waiting/inspection periods or any other pertinent questions?

I’m looking to become an investor in the KC area and I was curious if I should pull the trigger on a multi family or single family home with the VA loan?
