So if my business leases the airplane at a neutral cost from the LLC, no profit equals no need for 135 certificate.All this set-up (new LLC, Lease agreement etc) was going to run about $2000.Accountant asked how much aircraft use was going to be personal vs biz use and I was honestly at 70% personal 30% biz so does the cost of setting up the entities justify the tax savings?

Now its one year worth of interest.If my scenario of sluggishness economy for a few years doesnt pan out i may be a bit sad cashing out a cd early.there are some reg A offerings ( don't need to be accredited ) that pay 6% are the bottom of the capital stack ( safest) with 30 day calls..

look at Kitsap/ Mason county as there are lots of lakes and also salt water options that are swimmable ( bottom section of Hood canal) .....not positive what 300K can buy these days
