Besides the distance, (I just bought Long Distance Real Estate Investing) are there any other issues that someone may not anticipate when dealing internationally?

The units are right across the street from a small university and within walking distance to Capitol Hill ( very trendy) International District (like China Town), sports stadiums (go Seahawks), etc.

Of 5 note investors I've spoken to, 3 use drive by BPOs to determine As-Is value on the house (One has some internal process, and the final one wants an appraisal).I don't believe my improvements will be captured by a drive by BPO.

We make so many internal improvements to our units that would bias the assessors that unless something goes terribly wrong I never will let them in.
