I am not advising you to pay a premium of course (lol), but I do believe as the market becomes more mature, there is obviously a value, as a goodwill, or an intangible asset, built by renting a property as a STR. 

That's also assuming the loan is not refinanced or paid in full prior to maturity.

Brick homes, manicured lawns, mature tree lines streets...I am sure there are lesser areas of the city too but overall I think it is an excellent area to invest.

Did you happen to notice if Patrick got responding posts that may have been IDENTICAL to ones you or others received ?

The units are each identical being 3 bedroom/1.5 bathroom, bi-level, 1,400 sq ft, with a one car built in garage.

The lawsuit cannot include the property "owner" (controller, actually: "Control everything, own nothing") if that person's identity cannot be ascertained or used.

Are they identical buildings, more or less, or do you own a SFH next an apartment complex? 

I was discouraged when I was not able to get a loan due to some fraud/identity happening pertaining to my credit report (dealing done by family members).

I am also 37 years old not married and no kids, so I'm mature but not money savvy.

"Lease to Own option": essentially means you are leasing the how with the RIGHT to buy the property after a certain period  You are not required to buy it but you may buy it at the specified price at the time of maturity.
