I recently purchased a home that is far outpacing my condos... so much so that one of them will be sold this spring to make room for another house. 

I just got one of my clients a duplex under contract and in the process was able to connect with the listing agent.

However, if the property is a SFR or condo (instead of a MFR or residential income properties), the actual rent per unit is not even available.

I bought and moved to a condo, and when my closing attorney wrote them a demand letter, I got the refund in a week.I watch court shows on TV where landlords try to keep deposits with pictures of garbage left behind and damages, and usually the judges are not sympathetic attributing it to wear and tear.

I was actually downtown last night going to the theater and walked past a new construction condo building selling 1 bedroom 850 sq foot units for $350kFYI - My brother bought a 2 bedroom condo in Jamaica Plain outside Boston a few years ago. 

I have a duplex and single family home in Racine area, also 2 four bedroom and a warehouse with business /tenant. 

So I am looking at getting a duplex for my first rental property (living in one unit and renting the other).
