All units outdated, 4 furnaces are original and 50 yrs old, roof has about 5 yrs left, central AC units are 20 yrs old, 4 second story decks unsafe and not built to any sort of code standard and 20+ yrs old.

Purchased end of sept of 19 and sold march 4 of 20 completed renovations mid to end of December, Full renovation inside and out, added a third full bath downstairs, added central air, removed 2 walls in kitchen for open concept, and made a dedicated laundry room.

Montreal has increased in prices of course, but at a much slower rate than Toronto and Vancouver.Similarly, since the Brexit referendum, real estate prices in Central London has also taken a hit as HQ relocate to Paris and Berlin and the "top 1% vacate" from Central London.I think prices will still increase, but at a reduced rate comparing to previous decades.
