@Joseph MuleroTo build a successful real estate portfolio, consider house hacking and the BRRRR method, which recycles capital and acquires more properties.

you'd still get to make money in REI, with a secured predictable return, you'd just have to figure out another way down the line to be building equity and getting the tax benefits of ownership.hope this helps! 

Doesn't sound like a condotel if it's a small building.

I own 3 out of the 9 units in the building so not sure if I can get financing under conventional FNMA guidelines.With the blanket loan, what types of terms do you normally see?

I am tired of starting all over ever year without building any equity.
