Good area too. just don't want to get screwed but I've put in time and effort. so maybe paying another 500 to a different appraisal company is just the cost of doing business.

I like to buy at the border of a good community and a bad community and knowing the market intimately, allows me to know where the good part is growing into and that's where I buy.

To the investors that have done or are doing house hacking out there....If you could could go back in time and do your first house hack house differently, what would you have done differently?

Our short term rental went live in April, just in time for Masters week. 

We found a great deal and almost lost it because we struggled to lock down a commercial lender in time.

One I sold  around there right in time because drug dealers have taken the entire block.

The best you can do is to agree with them, be very polite, nice, pleasant, and be genuinely interested to resolve their concerns.

I'm really glad you got a raise just in time to allow you to qualify and hope the closing goes well tomorrow.
