This man has also been head of the HOA for many years.This is upsetting for two reasons: (1) because our tenant is a good person that doesn't deserve to be mistreated, and (2) that this abusive neighbor is going to drive good tenants away, affecting the value of our investment.

Id be very cautious about buying in the hot markets that have seen big price increases lately. 15-30% annual price increases are not sustainable.

What do they drive ($$$ car payment)? 

I drive back to these properties and search them on google maps to make sure I did not put in the wrong street number/name.

A lot of people use prop stream, I myself use batch skip tracing and drive for dollars for leads and utilize my local backyard.

The idea being that FHA wants to know this property is sustainable in the event that you move out. 

Earlier in the pandemic, I had a couple refinances done and they did a "drive by appraisal", which is what you are describing.

With the rental demand only going up, especially in metro areas, people will be willing to rent rooms out for the convenience of not having to drive an hour in to work to live in a more affordable. 

They should be able to find a cancer support group with will do things like help drive them to appointments and they would also know about other support such as rent.
