In 2014 I lent about $180,000 secured by a former community center building that an investor purchased as was going to turn into a neighborhood for profit after school center.

I chose Wholesaling to start so that our company would have a way to build capital to invest into buy and hold deals later down the line. specifically student housing in center city Philadelphia. 

I just search on the Airbnb app - I stick in a town, and see if they have any, and how close to town center they are = )It's not a sure-fire thing, but a good first step before pulling ordinances or call the town hall = )

The TAMU Real Estate Center defines a balanced real estate market, where prices are mostly stable, as having roughly 6.5 months of housing inventory.

This can happen more with retail centers with more moving parts and underwriting versus single tenant NNN.  

The condo was located in the center of Uptown and provided a great location and also offered secure parking.

@Kathy Villagomez since I am a professional property manager who's entire business is centered around managing investments for out of state investors please take my opinion with a grain of salt...You just spent a massive amount of money on an investment you cannot see, keep track of, or protect.  

Anchors can also be Universities, Hospitals, and government centers.  

The other thing that interests me (besides full time rental) is that it is right next to a new Cancer Center.
