One day everyone is there bidding things up, the next they all bail, prices drop and all of a sudden half the homes on the block are either for sale or for rent.

This house is in a small 2 block subdivision that is surrounded by a much larger and nicer subdivision.

I'd suggest getting on www.padmapper.com and seeing if you can find pictures of similar rentals within a few blocks.

That's where I live, tons of multi families and many nice blocks.

I'd also have the newest house on the block, which would further set my property apart .

when a guidance counselor flips a house for $1M & has never done it before, it's time to get out.then there were blocks of foreclosures...people too scared to buy.

Hi MathewMy initial start (>40 yrs ago) was to spend time with a motivated RE agent with a & proven track record & a successful but unassuming private lender.The RE agent was an elderly neighbor who took me aside after he discovered I was the young kid cleaning the sidewalks & mowing a vacant lot (snakes were a problem) etc on our block.
