If it's a decent amount, then file an LLC in the state you're purchasing the asset. 

Zillow is a tech company so I am surprised why they would get into asset flipping turning themselves more into an investment company.

And then let them use the $350K in cash to go buy a completely different asset. 

Mine is only 9 now, but for a few years we talk about assets and liabilities whenever the opportunity pops up.

Im looking to sponge as much knowledge as possible, with one of my strongest assets is my work ethic.

Things may have changed, but I believe GA has some limits on how many notes you can own in that state before you need to obtain a license.
