The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program is available only to employees of:Federal, state, local, or tribal government organizations, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, a not-for-profit that’s not 501(c)3 designated but meets other requirements related to public service, AmeriCorps, in a full-time capacity, or the Peace Corps.

I have one contractor who has a great employee --- just bought a new 1/2 Ford F-150.

Maybe your next person will be a local employee working 5hr/day Mon, Wed, Thurs. 

Good tenants make being a landlord fun and easy though, so be sure to ask all the appropriate questions during screening, call references like past landlords, current employees and always pull credit, criminal and eviction reports. 

How do you prove he is not an employee?

You can administer plan investments, but should not be acting as an "employee" of the plan or errand boy, ... and certainly not swinging hammers.  

My advice is you will not need a LLC until you hire employees.
