They an hour from Austin but a vastly different market than Austin.

I'm sure you have learned more than the vast majority of the BP audience about this with all the research you've performed over time.

I'd sure hope the vast majority of us are knowledgeable professionals who work hard to make sure our clients have a positive experience, but even a great loan officer can have an off day or transaction from time to time. 

I have been looking into many markets across the US and don't really know what to be looking for when trying to select a location to start investing in given the vast options available. 

I studied for a year, read books from the library, books on tape, etc, quit my job, 'sold' my house with a lease option, moved 3 states away closer to family into a trailer park and got busy.  

The vast majority of lawsuits against Landlords are for wrongful eviction, security deposit disputes, and Fair Housing Violations.

I will happily include a deeper background of myself if warranted as I am trying to make the right connections when I get out into this vastly growing market.

(I'm not sure exactly which strategies to employ - but Seller Finance and Sub to have certainly caught my eye.)I'm looking to employ the vast majority of my (future) profits into feeding, clothing and providing shelter to the homeless and working with anyone who'll work with me to develop such people into productive hard working members of society.David

I'm sure there are vast differences - but to me it sounds way to similar.

The area is in the process of vastly transforming for the next decade.
