It is legal, you're assigning your interest in the property. you don't have to have proof of funds if the seller doesn't ask for it .

:)@David Dachtera essentially what I'm advertising is exactly that; I'm looking to build a buyers list and I ask questions like what areas they are interested, do they have proof of funds, are they looking to buy and hold or just flip, etc.
