It depends on the price point you need to hit and the purpose - like additional insulation - you are trying to accomplish.One of my favorite inexpensive methods requires two guys for about 3-5 hours of time for each, and does not require much in the way of skill.First, they drive galvanized or hot dipped rebar into the ground every 2 feet on a line directly inside of the perimeter wall about 1/2" in from exterior.

We have a 6 unit on well and the inspector said the large pressure tank is probably what's contributing to the well being sufficient but if we add washers we should consider a new well.Also think about something like a specific no pools/hot tubs in the lease (may not even come up but you could get someone filling one of those 2 footer pools for their kids and not even thinking about water).

I'm assuming it's heating oil due to the above ground oil tanks at the other end of the basement.In any event I need to get the spill up before removing anything else out of the basement like the hot water heater and old galvanized plumbing.

Even if the property improves you are still trying to catch up with a break even value because you paid too much for seller finance.The market cycle today is too hot for sellers to want to finance the whole deal and banks will not touch you for that.
