We are in the Self Storage business. 

Very interested in storage units also but don’t know where to start honestly.

We have a partnership LLC already for a shared storage locker business, and we each have personal LLCs for other real estate investments, so there are a few options here.

We are starting off with minor work to address potential tenant concerns and plan to add additional secure storage in the basement for tenants.

So far I'm looking at junk removal (owner uses some of the rooms and garage as storage), flexibility on selling timeline so owner can do a 1031, potential covering some realtor or closing costs, etc.

Our timeline is very tight on our primary residence because we are going to rent a month to month furnished apartment/house during the transition period while our furniture & belongings are in storage.

Candidly,  Propstream provides great property data but their skip tracing isn't always fresh data.

Time for a fresh start.
