I wouldn't think they would require a redo for work that is readily visible, but it seems like your inspector is on the extreme end.Try asking for forgiveness first since it is a trivial amount of work with low complexity/skill required.

The first thing that comes to mind is to rent by room or padsplit.

So I start with the sponsor first.

If this is your first time investing in 5+ MFH, you might be able to get a financing with a tradition DSCR lender as along as its not over 10 units.

Maybe after my first couple of facilities I will seriously consider something like that.

Would someone actively be reinstating it or is there a multi step removal process and we are not actually getting through the entire process because we are only talking to the folks involved in the first step(s).Are there any keywords you can mention to the support staff to try to get someone more helpful or do you just keep calling until someone knows what they are doing?
