By the time we finish the close and rehab, I'm hoping for a decent summer renter market.

I have a fairly decent construction back ground but am currently 16 yrs active duty Army so I have to finish up there before I get 100% into the RE game.

@Osvaldo Granillo  I've fired a contractor in the middle of a project for pretty much exactly that reason (kept dragging his feet and I became concerned if/when he'd ever finish the project, plus I had some concerns about the quality of some of the work).  

I’ve been licensed in real estate in NY in the past, and have been in construction for almost a decade (finish/rough carpentry/painting).

The finish looks like glass and feels like butter (that finish will last).

It takes a lot of hard work, and you need to keep at it for a long time.I would recommend a good teacher/mentor, or a good start-to-finish guide. 

I just finished replacing the touch screen on an oven in one of my units.

Doesn't use property managers, but landlords it on their own.I'm finishing a book and included in it is interviews with successful investors from different strategies that dives into what that strategy really entails.

Investors are holding off on rehab projects because if contractors cannot finish the job (due to a mandatory shelter in place etc. or tightening of restrictions by local govt) then the project is 40% finished at a standstill, which is NOT a good situation.
