Can anyone offer insight, resources, or educational material to get me up to speed on what it is?

I am educating myself on the mechanics of it and I know I will make mistakes, but I feel vacant land investing is an untapped market; and, I do not want to deal with the stress and headaches of landlording or property management.

Often appreciation is overlooked, however this is a very important component that allows you to re-leverage at the appropriate times to build your portfolio towards achieving the goals of income replacement and wealth building.Keep educating yourself with the knowledge from the BP community.   

Sad to see it removed, but rules are rules....I'd like to see it continued/re-examined, but this time simply in light of generosity in general not tied to any other type of organization.I believe that people who are generous have a way about them that tends to draw others toward them, which is helpful in business where net working and establishing relationships built on trust is important.

Also I want to educate future homebuyers who are unable to qualify for a conventional loan about lease to own options.

We're all familiar with the story by now: record prices, decreasing housing inventory, and continuing affordability issues.

If you want to continue doing it, I would suggest that you have a back-up payment method like Cozy.co already in place and make sure that the tenants know what it is and how to use it BEFORE it's necessary.

The good person in me wants to help him start investing solo, the business side wants to use his partnership or buy alone.Should IA) continue with buying the building aloneB) offer to partner as to not miss out on any future opportunities togetherC) inform him he could actually invest in this building solo, easily in-fact using FHA and house hacking
