How did you take care if complaints and make tenants feel it is fair?

I tend to think of it as a place to catch a fishing charter or visit the state park.Not that it is a bad place, just be careful and don't be too gaga about the price. 

A local builder quoted me this summer at $250k for a split bedroom, open concept 1700 sq ft ranch, finished basement with egress window and two car garage.

I doubt many cash buyers would even go with this option even if the tenants were legitimately good people who pay on time and take good care of the property.

I have a local guy who also does my lawn care and snow removal that I pay a few bucks a month to sweep out vacated units and meet anyone who wants someone to show them a unit prior to renting (seldom needed).

It is very good siding, fireproof and last forever if cared for the big drawback is they are brittle so a ball smacking them will crack or break them. all in all if it's in overall good shape I wouldn't do more than replace what needs replacing and paint. otherwise you could be shelling out big bucks

It's the fit that matters.So be careful about generalizations.
