Simple Question (inspired by Dr Joe)Do you think Section 8 has proven to be a more “Safe” way of collecting rents during this time?

I am glad the first round of rent collecting during Covid19 worked out for you. 

Do you collect it, take your fee( placement/monthly fee), and then give it to the owner.

I’m trying to find an attorney in the central Texas area (New Braunfels or San Antonio) who can get the judgement abstracts and pursue debt collections themselves- a packaged deal.I’m struggling to find someone.

The real issue would be if they are not collecting enough in fees to pay expenses and appropriately reserve for capital items.

Depends how May rent collection turns out.

Indianapolis might have some down rent collection months, MIGHT, but buying and selling still happening here.

Main things right now would be collecting rents, selling properties (no showing restrictions) and lending/closings.Ask the same question in 60 days.

I am thinking of a rent deferral plan but not sure how to structure it - I don't want to be "out of the money" more than my last month rent collected ($1000).
